The Bellagio Platform, Suspended
The Bellagio Cielo brings the unmistakable Italian craftsmanship of the Bellagio Collection overhead. A high-output gas infrared core is wrapped in a hand-finished cast frame and a curtain of borosilicate glass rods — the Bicchiere surround — then suspended from twin downrods for a clean architectural ceiling line.
Engineered for Covered Spaces
A 51,000 BTU natural gas infrared output spreads warmth across an 18-foot radius — approximately 1,018 square feet directly below. Mounts horizontally or up to 30° from horizontal, with a 24 VAC Class 2 control circuit. Minimum 9-foot mounting height required.
Clima-Comfort — What You Actually Feel
A patio heater's real value is what you feel when you're standing next to it. On a 50°F evening, the Bellagio Cielo delivers approximately:
- Within 6 feet: a felt warmth around 73°F — cozy and immediate, the intimate zone closest to the column.
- Around 12 feet out: roughly 65°F — the conversational comfort zone where guests linger.
- At 18 feet (the rated perimeter): about 60°F — the outer edge of warmth, still noticeably warmer than ambient air.
Radiant heat from a patio heater falls off rapidly as you move away — this is physics, not marketing. Position guests within the comfort zone for the best experience, and consider multiple units for larger gatherings. Wind, humidity, and surrounding architecture all affect real-world performance.
Commercial Installation Only
Natural gas only. The Cielo is engineered for covered terraces, pergolas, restaurant pavilions, and luxury hospitality overhangs.
Not for use in residential dwellings. Installation requires a qualified gas appliance installer per local codes, ANSI Z223.1, and NFPA 70. The cast frame is finished in Positano Pearl, Vespero Slate, or Ravello Espresso. The Cielo is backed by our lifetime frame warranty, three-year parts coverage, and a one-year burner warranty (parts only, labor not included).
Where It Belongs
Designed exclusively for commercial hospitality: covered hotel terraces, restaurant pavilions, country clubs, and luxury pergola installations where overhead warmth must be both architectural and uncompromising.
